Having problems?

Having trouble getting your Bosch washing machine to do the job properly? If the clothes are still coming out dirty after a wash, there could be a few causes, fortunately we can help you troubleshoot and fix the problem so that you can get back to clean clothes. We will repair all your Bosch washing machine problems in no time at all.

Begin your troubleshooting journey by unplugging the machine and inspecting the inside of the drum and pump hose. Make sure that there is no lint buildup or clogs, as this can affect how much water is pumping into the washing machine and prevent it from cleaning properly. If you spot any blockages, clean them out with a vacuum or damp cloth until they are removed.

If you haven’t identified any blockages in the drum and pump hose, it’s time to check the detergent drawer. Make sure all parts of the drawer are present and undamaged, such as gaskets, ribs, shields or wheels. If a part is missing or broken, this can prevent detergent from being thoroughly distributed and lead to your clothes not being cleaned properly. Replace these damaged parts with genuine Bosch spares before running your cycle again

Most modern washing machines are now fitted with self-cleaning or manually cleanable filters. Regularly cleaning these filters is important to ensuring maximum efficiency when washing and draining clothes. The frequency of cleaning depends on the type of filter and can range from once a month to once every 6 months. Check your manufacturer’s instructions and follow the advised cleaning guidelines for your model of Bosch washing machine.

To diagnose any issues with your washing machine cycle settings, run a self-test. To do this switch off your appliance, press and hold the On/Off button whilst switching it back on at the same time until you hear 3 beeps. The self-test program will now start, check that all indicators and warning messages are displayed correctly before switching off again and returning to your regular cycle.
