  2. Check the Obvious: Inspect the heating elements for visible damage.

  3. Temperature Test: If your oven seems to heat erratically, use an oven thermometer to verify its accuracy compared to your settings.

  4. Igniter Inspection: (Gas ovens only) Listen carefully for clicking If you hear it but the oven doesn’t switch on then its likely the problem lies with  the igniter.

  5. Error Codes: If your oven  shows error  codes, then be sure to look them up in your manual.
